An obscure bit of funk from LA -- with a mixture of bluesy cuts and others with a harder James Brown style, all tied together with a very topical early 70s title! According to the notes, King has roots in the blues and gospel fields -- but to our ears, he's better here on the more soul-oriented numbers. Includes the instrumentals "Ain't It Funky Y'All" and "Our Song" -- plus the tracks "Sexy Baby", "Get Up Soul Brother", and "A Little Dab Will Do Ya"
