KISS Alive II DOUBLE MISPRINT Lp HOLY GRAIL VINYL w Tattoos, Booklet, Order Form.
This is it!!! This is the DOUBLE MISPRINT version of Kiss Alive II!!! This is the rarest version of the misprint, and rarely becomes available to here! The double misprint was the very first edition to be pressed at this one particular plant. First, the track listing is wrong and includes extra songs that did not actually appear on the album. Secondly, and this is where it becomes more rare, the number of publishing credits listed on the back cover is 7, while inside of the gatefold—the most iconic gatefold ever produced— the publishing credits lists 6!! Eventually both of the errors had to be corrected. No one knows exactly how many of these became available to the public, but this is the rarest and most sought after Kiss record that is not a promo. Let’s see what we got :: First, the booklet is complete and has no tears or creasing and the spine is intact with both staples. It’s in vg+ shape….Second, the tattoos are COMPLETE and are in very nice shape. There is a bend in the top right corner. I would also consider this vg+…..Third, the merch order form is complete and unsplit; it’s in one piece! There is some creasing and bends. This is at least a vg…… Fourth, this has the original sleeves! Both sleeves have slight splitting, but actually are quite good. Small splits, not whole sides. I would say these are easily vg+…. Fifth, the vinyls labels are awesome! There’s no writing- no bubbling- no spindle marks- no tears. All four sides have the double logo. I would say these are Nr.Mint….. Sixth, the vinyls themselves show surface marks which do not affect playability. I have play tested this vinyl and it does not skip or have any scratches…….Seventh, the spine looks very good. There are no gouges or splits. You can read every word clearly. I would rate the spine an easy vg+…… Eighth, the jacket itself is in great shape. There are NO CUT CORNERS!!!! There is slight edge wear. There is no ring wear. There is corner dings. The color is vibrant all around. I would call the jacket at vg+ , also. Ninth, the gatefold has slight ring wear only around the bottom of both sides. It has a ding at the top directly in the center(you can see both the edge wear and the ding in the photos posted). The color of the centerfold is awesome! I can look at this picture all day! I will call this also an easy vg+……Look at the pictures for exact condition and contents of this package. There’s no way I can capture everything in 12 pictures, so PLEASE , if you want or need any additional photos , JUST ASK!!!! I’m happy to help you decide to buy this record. I know it’s not cheap, so anything I can do~within reason~ I will be glad to do!!! This is a HOLY GRAIL piece for KISS collectors, as well as vinyl collectors in general. Again, this is the DOUBLE MISPRINT and is a must have for any serious collector. Any questions, please ask before buying!!! Do not hesitate, because if you do, someone else is going to swoop in and grab it and there’s only so many of these left in the wild!!!
