Description

NOTE to my buyers:  This is my last week of listing new stuff.  I may have a list for next week, but it’ll be relistings of whatever hasn’t sold since I started listing again, probably at reduced prices.  Hey, if I don’t want it, it’s better than having it hang around.  That being said, I will be back in the near future once I’ve had a chance to cull through my 45’s.  Would appreciate it if you’d keep an eye.  Probably talking a couple weeks to a month.  So, back to the show.

Welcome back.  Haven’t been an active seller in a few years (though I remained an active purchaser until a year or 2 ago) so it’s good to dabble in vinyl again.

This is not my business or my living.  I have a real job (ha) and am just another record hound trying to turn these records into other records.  It's been a few years since I sold on ebay and I see things have changed (a lot more listing tools and options) and I can't promise I've navigated or applied them all correctly, so if there appears to be ambiguity or confusion, PLEASE ASK.  Questions cheerfully answered for free.

Bottom line:

1.      I’m a rock’n’roller.  What I'm selling is my duplicates and items I'm just not interested in.  There's probably enough to get me through a couple months, and once they're gone I'll be gone again myself.  Please keep an eye on things and check my other listings, I'll keep it as interesting as I can.  There’s a lot of Rush and Led Zep if you’re partial to these bands.

2.      Grading is honest and conservative (IMHO).

3.      Packaging:

1.      Records are shipped in record mailers with stiffeners.

2.      Records are shipped in plastic protectors.

3.      Records ARE NOT shipped in the covers.

4.      Original innersleeves included when I have them.

5.      Records will not be shipped in an original company sleeve unless it’s plain white.

6.      You MAY also get (depending on availability) a mylar sleeve.

4.      OK, I’ll agree to ship worldwide, but please be ready to deal with the costs.  If you’re not willing to spring for tracking with receipt signature, then once it hits the mail stream it’s yours.  In other words, no refunds if it doesn’t show up (this is the reason I didn’t want to ship overseas, too many “I never got the record and I want my money back”, and no way to prove otherwise).  The USPS issues tracking numbers for domestic mail, but not for the cheaper international when tracking is not specifically purchased.  The only tracking number I’ll have to give you will be a customs form number, which I’ll cheerfully pass along, but if there are issues I’m not sure how far that’ll get you towards finding out its fate.

5.      USA shipping is $4 for USPS media mail.  Multiple purchases are always bundled, and if we go above the $4 limit I round up to the next dollar (not sure how many records I can ship together before the USPS wants more than $4).  If you want a different shipping option let me know and we'll figure it out.  Per the USPS website it looks like somewhere about $7 and $12 will get you Priority mail (I'm on the east coast).  I usually round shipping up to the next full dollar so I feel like I'm getting gas money.  Regardless, for other than the set cost of media mail, your cost will be within a buck of actual cost.  I don't like getting ripped off on shipping, and I bet you don't either.

6.      Insurance available at your cost.  Again, I'll have to go to the source to get a total so I'll be a day or two getting back to you, and I'll round the shipping/insurance total up to the nearest buck.

7.      Returns OK, but the E allows at least 14 days to notify me.  It's a record.  You should know pretty quickly if you feel it doesn't live up to the hype, so contact me quickly.  If I hear 14 days later you don't like it, we'll probably have a problem.

  So here we go:

COMMENTS AND OPINIONS: If you’ve followed my auctions you know what I think of this album (should be issued at birth).  I’ve heard it a lot.  May be the pressing, but to me this album sounds a bit darker than others I've heard.
