Vinyl – Very Good Condition there are some audible clicks on Gallows Pole and Tangerine at the start which is reflected in the price for this prized album as quoted below , the rest of the record plays beautifully and I believe a professional clean could enhance the records quality

(Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise)

Sleeve – Good Condition + The sleeve has some blemishes on the inside cover and some writing that has faded and left imprints (See Photographs)  The Rotating Wheel works Perfectly.

My 50-year-old Record Collection needs a new home.

All vinyl records have been inspected, cleaned and played on an Acoustic Research turntable.

Below is how I have graded them taking some of the relevant points from various record sites.

MINT:  In order for a mint record to be considered mint it cannot ever be played, therefore, a mint record cannot be play graded.

NEAR MINT and VG+ A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Any defects are of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback. In theory, a VG+ record should sound the same as a Near Mint (NM)one. Vinyl surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don’t affect listening.

VG:  Many of the defects found in a Very Good Plus record will be more pronounced in a Very Good item. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound.

GOOD: GOOD + A record in Good or Good Plus condition can be played through without skipping, but it will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail)that will affect the sound.
