LESS THAN JAKE . . . 1995 PIZZA BOX
GREAT ARTWORK
Recorded at Mirror Image, Gainesville, FL
Limited Edition of #684 of 1000. The entire B-side of the disc is etched. Comes with a folded paper "menu" with lyrics for "Rock-N-Roll Pizzeria" and the story behind the song "Son Of Dick", as well as info on what LTJ releases were still (at the time) in print.Also comes with a refrigerator magnet (as one might get from a pizza delivery service) and a paper receipt stamped with NO IDEA RECORD mailing address. Items placed inside varied in the 10" cardboard pizza box, which according to the menu was hand-screened by the band. The box is individually numbered and random toppings have been checked with a black marker. On this particular box, bassist Roger Twig wrote "Twigster" with an arrow pointing to the pizza chef on top of box. Roger affectionately added a pentagram on the chef's apron ( ... as only Roger could do!). Additionally, he added an additional topping box on front/side of 'Lemon Pez', checked it off and also checked the 'Extra Cheese' box. How can you not love this band?! The title on the box is always spelled "Pizzaria", while the title within the menu is always spelled "Pizzeria". Box is in Excellent++ Condition and has four time-dated LTJ sticker with it. Now some LTJ pizza boxes had different contents and this is how this box came to me.
