Here’s an exceptional promo copy of You Better Know It!!! by Lionel Hampton, released on Impulse! Records (A-78). This is a sample copy, not for resale as indicated on the inner gatefold—a rare find for collectors of Impulse jazz promos. This 1964 release captures Hampton’s exuberance on the vibraphone, backed by an all-star ensemble including Clark Terry, Ben Webster, Hank Jones, Milt Hinton, and Osie Johnson.
The gatefold jacket is bright and clean with minor edge wear. The vinyl itself is glossy with only faint sleeve marks—visually VG++, close to NM.
