Description
Larry Norman and the Solid Rock Street Choir - Labor of Love LP. #165 of 250 white label/white cover album with blue insert and photo. We got tipped off by a friend back in 1982 that these were available, called Solid Rock (talked to Joe Norman himself!) and got copies of both this and Labor of Love (selling in my other auctions). This has been protected in a VRP heavy vinyl sleeve since soon after it was new with a VRP deluxe inner sleeve as well. One thing I didn't foresee was that the insert has attached to the sleeve and when i removed it it left a little of the toner or ink stuck to the clear sleeve. Insert still looks good though. Right edge of sleeve has a little puffiness at edge like it got slightly wet once. Album was probably played ten or twelve times, mostly to make tapes for friends. I remember the pressing had some noise even when brand new. album plays through with no skips or major noise, side one is very quiet, side two has a few pops and crackles, mostly in the quiet parts, very listenable! Photo of Larry in burnoose in excellent shape. Rare opportunity! Selling sister album Labor of Love in other auctions, can ship both for just a bit more than one.
