Description
Stereo #SD 8216 - Atlantic Record issued in 1969, original record and cover.
Cleaned than play graded as VG to VG+, no skips. The better your turntable the less occasional background (tic) you'll hear. But hey your gonna crank it up anyway! Vinyl does retain some of it's gloss and luster. Goldmine grading or a 5 on the Osborne scale. Side 1 has 3 very fine scratched areas, one of which you can feel, all 3 are 1" or less. Side 2 also has a very fine scratch of 2" in length. There are no pops or skips but you will hear a faint tic occasionally less if played on better equipment.
Matrix # in trail off is: STA-68 14(61)or(62) and 2S or 3S on the A & B sides.
Cover is intact but rates a VG- as there is a 7" seam split on the top, and a 5" split on the bottom. There had been some past water damage on the bottom/middle 2" with a little paper loss on the reverse side in the credits. The spine can be read with Led Zeppelin - Atlantic but the number (8) is obscured followed by the end of the matrix 216.
This has the original sepia color used on the back of the jacket. You will also see (enlarged photo), of the 1841 Atlantic address not used in future pressings.
