Description

A 1st issue from early 1970 on the UK Atlantic label. Matrix A5/B2. The label shows the 'LEMON SONG' track - this is indicative of 1st issue. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in the original Ernest J. Day lighter brown cover. Also included is the original 'plastic bag warning' inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex-) Has seen a moderate level of use, but still remains in great condition. Please be aware that there are a number of marks both sides. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity and only occasional interference. We didn't detect more than a touch of static in a few places and a couple of clicks - and certainly nothing invasive. The only place it briefly falls below the given grading is at the start of track 1 - a marks causes a few clicks. That being said the track is still more than enjoyable - and overall this LP represents a very decent level of playback at an attractive price.
Cover (Ex-) Zep II covers do often take a bit of a beating over the years. But this example is in rude health! Handling wear is light - a good bit lighter than most average copies. There's a bit of edge wear, but at no point has it worn through. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity and the interior is spot on.  A really nice original example.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing and no splits.
