Rare Original 1st press UK 45" released in 1960 on the Black & Silver London Records Label. Cat: HLW 9223. Comes with original London sleeve which is in Excellent condition.
Hazlewood had a distinctive baritone voice that added a resonance to his music. Hazlewood's collaborations with Nancy Sinatra as well as his solo output in the late 1960s and early 1970s have been praised as an essential contribution to a sound often described as "Cowboy Psychedelia" or "Saccharine Underground"
These singles are part of a lovely collection of original English 45's brought to Australia over 30 years ago when an English couple migrated to Australia. An avid music fan this gentleman followed many of the bands in the day from the late 50's through the 60's seeing everyone from the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Animals, Yardbirds, Bo Diddley, Gene Vincent just to name a few. These singles are a great representation of his passion for rock N roll and the many artists who were playing at the time. Most of them are still with original record company paper sleeves and are all in amazing condition considering they are over 50 years old!! I look forward to listening and listing them for you over the next month...
Tracks : Words mean nothing/ The girl on death row. Both labels are lovely and clean, only a few very light scuff marks on vinyl. Record is in Excellent condition.Payment is accepted by Credit Card or Paypal. Within Australia we prefer Direct deposit transfer.
