JOHN LENNON & YOKO ONO - 'TWO VIRGINS (UNFINISHED MUSIC No.1)'
1968 UK *1st STEREO* PRESSING
**NEAR MINT**
This fine & rare 1968 stereo 1st pressing is on the UK dark green Apple/Track label: 613012 (SAPCOR 2)
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Apple Records..' rims.
There is no tax/price code visible on either label.
Housed in a fully laminated 'Technink' printed cover with the text on the 'rear' panel.
Complete with its original die-cut, matt black inner-sleeve (no splits or tears).
Matrix numbers: SAPCOR 2A-1 & SAPCOR 2B-1
Stamper numbers: 1/O & 1/O
Labels: Side 1 NEAR MINT Side 2 EXCELLENT
There is just a single spindle trail on each label.
The side 2 label bears a 'fingerprint' in the 9 'o clock position but no other marks.

Both surfaces are MINT viewed in natural light and bear just a few minor sleeve removal marks when viewed directly under a halogen desk lamp.
Otherwise, this is a pristine disc with no other marks or any scratches to either side.
Thick, sharp-edged vinyl which lies 100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
Played only twice, this superb sounding disc plays and sounds totally 'as new'.
Carefully listened to on headphones, I can report no clicks, pops, crackle, groovewear or any other trace of audible wear.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A fine example of this fragile cover which still remains white & is unyellowed and without any brown 'foxing'/age spots or discolouration.
As usual for this cover, there is some laminate lift on the rear panel only towards the spine & just light disc impression from storage.
The lower left corners bears a light bruise, but both opening edges are in perfect unworn, undamaged condition.
Both seams and the unworded spine are strong and unsplit.
(The small spot in the upper right corner of the front panel is under the laminate)
