Description
JOHN LENNON & YOKO ONO - 'TWO VIRGINS'
1968 UK 1st PRESS *STEREO* LP
**NEAR MINT DISC & MONO COVER**
This barely played original 1968 stereo copy was one of only 500 units sold in the UK and is on the dark green Apple/Track label: 613012
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & the 'Track Records' logo.
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in an unlaminated 'Technink' printed mono cover with the text on the front panel.
Complete with its original die-cut, matt black inner-sleeve.
N.B. The UK version was not issued with a brown bag.
Matrix numbers: SAPCOR 2A-1 & SAPCOR 2B-1
Stamper numbers: 1/GR & 1/GA
Disc weight: 145g
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both sides appear in 'MINT' condition when viewed in strong direct daylight, retaining their 'as new' deep gloss shines with no dull or cloudly areas.
Close & careful inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveals just a few faint inner-sleeve removal marks on side 1 but no scratches or further wear.
100% flat both sides on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This disc has recieved just one or two careful plays on good quality equipment and plays cleanly & clearly throughout with no groove/play wear or background noise.
Hard to find better.
Cover: EXCELLENT MINUS
This rare unlaminated mono example has some general all-round toning and light storage/handling wear but no further significant or any major faults.
There is some light corner bruising & a tiny 'nick' to the rear opening edge, but both seams and the unworded spine are strong, unsplit & undamaged.
N.B. I have censored the cover images, otherwise the photo-hosting service I use will not carry them.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Some light storagewear creasing but no splits or tears.
