For Auction:
The classic Let It Be boxed set (book and album) by The Beatles.
This is a UK 1st pressing as evidenced by the red apple logo on the rear of the album sleeve. As such, it is much more highly sought after than later versions.
The set is entirely intact. I've seen some sold recently with parts of the tray holding the book missing but, I repeat, this set is entirely intact.
The condition of the various parts of the set is as follows:
Outer Sleeve - A little normal "shelf" wear round the edges and a little laminate lifting towards the bottom of its front, affecting an area of approximately 1" by 4".
Album - some light surface marks but no actual scratches.
Album sleeve - very good to excellent.
Inner tray - This has one small tear to each of three of the four corners where the book sits, but in view of the fact it's now 37 years old and the design was inherently never robust, I think it's stood the test of time very well and is in better condition than most examples you'll find.
Book - Complete, all pages present, and no creasing.
