Description
Here is an Edison Diamond Disc record with the voice of Thomas Edison. This is “Let Us Not Forget- A Message to the American People by Thomas A. Edison”. There is no catalog number listed on the label- although we believe it does have a catalog number (but we don’t have an Edison Diamond Disc discography to check). On the record, Edison talks about the great sacrifices Americans made during the first World War. We believe this was recorded in 1919. The other side of the record is ”National Aires of the Allies”, played by the New York Military Band. A nice march. The record is in excellent condition. Using a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being best, we grade this disc at 9. Comes in a plain brown sleeve. A rare record. Note: Because of the embossed style of the label, it was very difficult to get good photographs. There is some reflection in the ones below, but they are the best we could take.
