Description

An original 1st press of Transformer on the UK RCA label. Matrix 1E/1E...that's the very 1st cut. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed by Clout & Baker. 
Vinyl (Ex+) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minimal - even in those low-key acoustic numbers. We couldn't detect more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments. It really is a very impressive rendition and the very earliest pressing to boot.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has been looked after down the years. Clean front and back with minor handling wear. Edge wear is light w and the text on the spine is mostly still legible. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
