* BA-711 on BEL-AMI *
* MEGA RARE *
A dandy of an item, you are now participating in the top auction of the week for The USA, Canada, Germany & The UK
Artist: Majic Ship
Title: Majic Ship (Self-titled)
Label: BEL-AMI Records Co.
Number: BA-711
Year: 1970
Pressing: USA original
Mode: Stereo
Speed: 33 1/3 rpm
Size: 12"
Grading Scale: Mint Near Mint Excellent Very Good Good Fair Poor
Jacket Condition: Still Sealed, Near Mint. Super. Technical grading minutia: Remarkably three of the corners are fine, only one corner has a ding and even it is very minor. The cellophane coverage is circa 99%+, there is a narrow gap a few inches along the top edge of that same corner, a 1" cellophane gap near the bottom, and a 1/2" cellophane gap on the back. Mentioned for throughness, and the shrink is still tight. I see but a single puny age fox on the front, near that same corner, a very faint 1/4" and inordinately nominal, and one on the back at the bottom in the white inner border there is another puny dot, which the picture is not picking up. The front picture is lighter because the actual artwork is a lighter sepia while the back picture is darker because the actual artwork is a darker black. Non-technical grading holistic: A very decent and extremely presentable item.
Archival quality storage: It has been stored in a archival outer sleeve, estimated at 10-15 mil thick, clear with a back overflap, which also explains why it is in such grand condition. It was removed from this outer protector for purposes of inspection and listing, and has been returned to it, as the photograph shows. The record will be shipped in this same thick archival sleeve with back flap, and placed inside an LP shipping box, with LP shipping pads on both sides.
Summary: Still sealed original 1970 Bel-Ami Majic Ship in a superior condition jacket in an archival protector.
About the seller: A record collector for 38 years and an early eBay member since 1998, you can bid with confidence that this item is real, and it is as described as accurately to the best of my ability and knowledge.
Payments via PayPal must be received within 3 days of auction ending. The winner pays for an LP packing box and packing pads at $2, + domestic USA/Canada insurance and shipping charge, which is calculated based on the winning bid value and specifc shipping carrier and service. Because eBay requires general parameters to initially list the record on auction, it is afterwards that the winning auction value actually determines what the amount of insurance will be, and what the winner's preferred mode of shipping and location is, which might differ from the eBay general parameters. These variables make it impossible to know in advance the final invoice amount. Thus the seller will email the actual and accurate invoice to the winner after the auction ends. If you pay the generic eBay invoice prior to receiving the actual final auction value invoice, then you might be invoiced a second time for the difference in the actual total. Due to the extreme rarity of this LP, it is expected to end at high value, therefore this auction is limited to bidders registered in and with shipping addresses within The USA, Canada, Germany, & The UK, and with a bidding and feedback history amenable to the seller. Expanded to include Germany, as I have lived there and shipped records both to and from, and so to meet requests from collectors in both Germany and The UK as well as here in The USA and Canada, regardless of country, shipping will be via express, priority, or the equivalent service, so the winner must be willing to pay for such shipping costs and insurance for this item, generally circa $25-30 for USA, and circa $30-40 international. The key point being communicated here is that for this particular LP do not expect media mail or regular mail or generic shipping. While the seller will make reasonable effort to accomodate certain specific shipping preferences, ultimately the record will be shipped via the mode that the seller deems most secure for protecting the integrity of the item as well as to meet specific shipping carrier requirements as is necessary and practical.
Best of good luck with bidding on this mega rare original Majic Ship LP on Bel-Ami, 1970 still sealed, and in great condition!
