Hardcore punk band from Washington, DC, USA that evolved from Artificial Peace. They existed from 1982 until 1988, releasing one 12" EP and 2 LPs, the last of which was a posthumous release.
Marginal Man was a punk band that emerged in the Washington, D.C. hardcore scene in 1983. Steve Polcari, Pete Murray, and Mike Manos all had played earlier in Artificial Peace, a band which appears on Dischord Records' important Flex Your Head compilation, an essential document of the 1980s D.C. punk scene. The other two members, Andre Lee and Kenny Inouye, had previously been in the band Toasterhead. Marginal Man played for five years before a final performance at the 9:30 Club on March 24, 1988. They have reunited for shows at the 9:30 Club on August 29, 1991 and December 30, 1995—the second-to-last show at the 9:30 Club's original location—and at Black Cat on August 20, 2011.
Guitarist Kenny Inouye is the son of former Representative, Senator, and Medal of Honor recipient Daniel Inouye, D-Hawaii.

I also worked at a record company for 13 years, toured North America with numerous international acts, DJed internationally, produced festivals, and had a clothing importing company.  So in this time, I’ve accumulated a lot of interesting and limited items...
