Mastodon exploded onto the scene in 2002 with their debut LP ‘Remission’ a record that would immediately establish them as one of the most important bands in the history of heavy music. Combining an unparalleled level of musicianship together with songwriting sophistication that simply did not exist amongst their peers, were it to be initially released today ‘Remission’ would still be nothing short of mindblowing. Over a decade after its release ‘Remission’ remains one of the most important titles in Relapse’s rich catalog, and it is with that appreciation that the label is proud to present a super-deluxe version of this classic record put together with the cooperation of the band themselves. The album has been fully remixed by original producer and engineer Matt Bayles and remastered by Ed Brooks at RFI. The CD cover art has been dramatically enhanced to showcase the iconic ‘Remission’ horse with a beautiful a custom 3D embossing with a UV gloss, special custom varnish and foil stamping. Additionally, album artist Paul Romano scoured his vaults to unearth 24+ pages of previously unreleased artwork originally created for the Remission album. Super limited 2XLP vinyl box set featuring a unique cover image by Paul Romano complete with foil stamping and an exclusive etching on side D. The vinyl files were created from audiophile studio grade high definition files to create the highest possible audio experience.

I have ZERO tolerance for non-paying buyers who waste my time, as I provide excellent and fair customer service. A non-payment case will be opened if payment is not received within the time frame. If payment is still not received, the buyers account will be flagged and possibly sanctioned, and will be blocked from making any future purchases. The primary shipping carrier I use is USPS, although Fed Ex and UPS are also available if requested. Domestic orders will receive tracking at no charge with all orders. International buyers have the option of First Class Mail International, which is basic airmail service and cannot be tracked or insured, or Priority Mail International, which is completely trackable and insured. Registered airmail service is also available if requested. I always combine shipping costs, which is based on the total weight of the parcel, and adds up to large savings on shipping. Please contact me for shipping quotes for multiple items. All orders are safely and securely packed in record box mailers with bubblewrap; additional measures are taken for larger orders, which include additional padding, oversize boxes, double-boxing, and reinforced corners. All opened/unsealed records are packed with vinyl outside the covers to prevent split seams. Sealed records can be requested to be opened and packed in the same manner if requested.
