3 LPs of fabulous music in outrageous stereo sound.
If this caught your eye, you must know about the world famous cellist, Janos Starker. Starker who turned 80 this year is still performing and is still teaching at Indiana University, where he has been since 1958. These particular performances of the Bach Suites were started in 1963 and were completed in 1965 at the Fine Recording Studio in New York City. This is Mercury Living Presence Stereo at its best. This is a rare set and the vinyl is NM on all six sides! The labels are dark maroon with silver lettering. This set comes with the original insert which is in fine condition. The records are in their original sleeves and are slightly yellowed from age. The box cover is good with no cuts or scratches. Three of the top corners are slightly worn and the top left hand cover corner is separated. The bottom of the box is fine with very little wear. The binding has been separated from age.
