MF DOOM signed 1st pressing of "DANGER DOOM" & OG KMD - "Black Bastards" Metal Face records promo poster
LP was signed at SXSW in Austin TX March 17th, 2006 @ the Trading Post for Adult Swim x Stones Throw . Also appearing were Madlib, Madvillain, Peanut Butter Wolf, Med , Egon and Percee P. There is even a video from that nights magic at bottom of listing. The poster was also from this event.
This listing is for the signed LP (2005) and the OG KMD Promo Metal Face Poster (2004). The additional pictures of the Percee P sticker and AS band are just to show as some further proof I was there, Adult Swim would not allow pics of any kind. I have contacted several COA companies (I use Beckett personally) and the cost to get this authenticated and appraised is 500$. The LP needs to be shipped and returned the process takes a little over a month and i just don't have that much time. My history with COAs is once they looked at a pic and would authenticate is fact alone that it's real. This is one of 2 signed MF DOOM albums I have (MM FOOD is the other and my fave of all time and has my name and a doodle. so I will be clutching it till my death).
Please take the time to study the signature. It's authenticate and beautiful. It has the speech bubble, halo and Mad face like the rarer signatures of him has. I think it's easy personally to see this is 100% legit. It's not just some sqwiggle and it's not choppy at all but we had a few minutes rather than just running from a venue. So I implore you to do your research and you will see.
It's been my experience that SXSW are always special rather I'm seeing DOOM at the trading post or Iggy Pop at ACL. It's always unique, if you haven't gone GO! I really hate to part with this but I have one that actually has "to: (my dj name)" So I place this is the hands of the cosmos and I'm trying to include an other item to help that true Hip Hop fan who knows a Holy Grail get a solid AF family heirloom fit for a MF King.

KMD - Black Bastards Poster artwork by EMEK is OG and from the merch booth that night. I took it as it was going to be thrown out. They are SUPER RARE and sell for $500+ by them selves . Poster is in good condition for its over 25 year age. Has been folded up please look at pics to judge condition. I really don't know where you would get one of these promo posters unless you were at a event involving DOOM or for Metal Face records
I see MF DOOM signature up for over 3k. I'm starting mine at $750, the cost DD 1st press alone and 1/2 the cost of the KMD Poster, with a buy it now of 3k. I'm only selling as I have recently been confined to my home and need the money badly as we are drowning in bills and it's hard to work when you can't leave the house. I know this might be TMI but i wanna be as transparent as I can be. This is hard to watch go ESP in a EBAY auction to someone IDK who maybe a dealer reseller. I have fought vultures off of this piece for 20 years. Please bid with confidence after you do your research. Because this is a gift no matter how much you pay for it. There will be no more and to me has the significance of a life changing night in Austin TX with people I love. Cheers!
