Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this,and I almost have with these collectable gems.

I am now selling another..YES another set of UK swirl VERTIGO albums. PLEASE read the descriptions carefully as some of the albums are NOT very first pressings and some will be VERY FIRST white label promo's. But ALL are GENUINE UK SWIRL PRESSINGS. 

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --MIKE ABSALOM--MIKE ABSALOM--UK ORIGINAL  PRESSING. 1971 stereo 6360 053 The 54th of 88 UK pressings on this label. MORE WILL FOLLOW!


SLEEVE.....POSTER STYLE, FOLD-OUT and UN-LAMINATED. Another of Roger Dean's. This sleeve has no major floors but it has seen some better days. All six panels are Fully attached and are UN-TORN with NO WRITING, NO STICKERS and NO RING-WEAR. There is a small (touched in) sticker tear to the front panel that does not affect the art work or logo. The spine has been touched in and the information is not very clear. There are some close-up photo's of the damage. There is also some 'foxing' to the lighter parts of the art work. All in all this is in good condition for a 37year old sleeve.VG+.


LABELS..... THIS COPY HAS THE MUCH RARER AND SOUGHT AFTER 'LARGE' B-SIDE SWIRL. There is NO unwanted writing, stickers, residue or tears. There is some 'foxing' evident to the B-side label. There are only 1 or 2 spindle marks on either side. N/MINT, EX

VINYL..... Both sides of this album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see surface hair lines and NO SCRATCHES OR SCUFFS. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo separation. There are dust crackles, but a professional clean should sort out most of that. These original pressings are second to none. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER .  EX/EX
