MUSIC VIEW RADIO BROADCAST SHOW, "The Hippest 1/2 Hour on America's Airwaves", originally aired 10/26/87 and 11/02/87. PROMO-ONLY VINYL LP plus additional 7", includes 2 different cue sheets/info sheets plus color ad slick, issued only to radio stations that aired the program. Both records in EX/NM condition with clean labels. Jackets/sleeves have some light wear. Cue/info packet and ad slick in good condition with light wear. Less than 200 copies produced. Based in New York City, short-lived Alternative/Punk music syndicated radio program broadcast to over 160 FM station affiliates in the mid-1980s, hosted by WNYU Program Director Jon Fox and Jack Rabid. Features music, interviews, radio promos, 1-minute daily programs, etc. from X (music and 2-part interview), The Stranglers (w/Hugh Cornwell interview), Echo & The Bunnymen, New York Dolls/David Johansen, The Dils, Chris Stamey, Binky Philips, The Cure ("Boys Don't Cry" Demo version), and more. The LP has a 30-minute program on each side with additional material and promos on the 7"ep.
