LAND WHERE NO CABINS FALL-3:35 The Midway Gospel Singers is made up of five Christian men. Walter R. Cope, who sings lead and plays guitar. Larry Hundley, who also sings lead and plays guitar. Sky Norris, sings tenor and plays mandolin. Harvey Hemrick plays banjo, and Len Frances plays bass. During the past ten years it has been my pleasure to engineer many recording sessions, everything from R & R to C & W to bluegrass to bluegrass gospel. The Midway Gospel Singers are just what the name implies, gospel, bluegrass style. I found all the men easy to work with, and a delightful bunch of guys to be around. Of all the sessions 1 have engineered 1 don’t believe I enjoyed one anymore than the cutting of these boys album. There are many people who really enjoy bluegrass gospel music, and I know without any doubt they will surely enjoy every minute of this recording. These men have made this record in hopes that you will receive a blessing from our Lord as you listen to the songs they sing. They had prayer before the session was started. This is their first album and from the great sounds on it. 1 can’t wait to engineer their second one, so right now I’m gonna stop Happing my jaws so you can settle back and turn that volume control up and let them throw the words your way while you have a great time listening to them.
