Description
The 1971 debut album by Mike McGear – brother of Paul McCartney – is pretty scarce these days, so this is a rare opportunity to grab an Island original which is also in great condition.
The sleeve is not far off grading excellent – the centre gatefold certainly is, and it the rest would be bar a mark on the front (which may be cleanable), and a bit of edge and ringwear.
The vinyl, however, certainly is Excellent, retaining its gloss and playing really nicely throughout. Just a couple of non-feelable hairlines.
The pink rim labels are also in splendid order, and it comes with an original pale blue Island poly-lined inner sleeve.
The music's good too – a nice mix of quirky pop and prog, with some rockier moments and fine musicianship throughout. Grab a little early 70s gem.
