An original 1st press of GOLD on UK Reprise...note how catalogue numbers are the 6xxx versions. This is what you get on the original 1970 copy. PLEASE NOTE.....The cover is a heavy-card USA 1st Issue. Harder to find than you might imagine. THE vinyl is UK 1st press from 1970 ---. MANY MANY '72 copies....GET YOURSELF A REAL 1970 YOUNG COPY...Correct 6xxxx catalogue codes on the vinyl label. SUPER HEAVY Vinyl. Lyric sheet is present.
Vinyl (Ex) Very well preserved and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least EXCELLENT level of playback . CRAZY GOOD. Really nice quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A great player throughout. Hardly any background at all. THIS IS AN EXCEPTIONALLY HARD FIND....on this extremely fussy record. YOU want the best....? You're looking at. Don't pass up.
Cover (Vg+) In great condition with a clean and flat front. Slight surface wear in places - but otherwise front and back look real nice. Minimal edge wear and firm openings. Text on the spine is legible with a couple of stress creases. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
