Original Italian pressing on the CAM label (CrT 001), from 1972. Psychedelic lounge / groovy funk and bossa masterpiece, orchestrated by Giacomo Dell'Orso (the husband of Edda) and cult soundtrack composer, Nico Fidenco, under his Donimak alias. Sophisticated mood music capturing the youthful / carefree Italian hippie sound of the period. This is the desirable 1st pressing with amazing picture sleeve artwork :) Lots of decadent pop themes with infectious, lightly stoned arrangements. Our soundclip opens with WORKING-DAY followed by the Berto Pisano-esque spinette lounge of SAD TRUMPET then several other themes. Bewitching vocals on FLYING ABOUT / bossa and fuzz distortion breaks on VILLAGE FEAST / waltz tempo rhythms / modal sounds / eastern and baroque strings / trippy flute / electric spinette / harpsichord / spacey synthesizers / prog folk movements etc etc. Deeply cinematic with a mellow or sleazy undercurrent that you would expect to hear in a stylish giallo thriller or exploitation / counter-culture B-movie from Cinecitta. An uncredited Alessandroni provides his trademark, phased male voices and exquisite guitar vamps. Shades of the early '70s, Piero Umiliani sound on here too. Top production by Fidenco. Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG+ condition with hairlines and faint, faded old pressing marks from compressed contact with the original plastic inner. Top production sound. Some light surface noises. Some soft pops / soft ticks in places. The soft card sleeve is in VG++ condition overall with light general wear. Some creasing and corner wear (front, top right and bottom left spine side corner) / a couple of mini stains from storage / ring wear / ring dirt marks (mostly to back sleeve). Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Very rare Library Lp!!!
