A very rare, one of a kind Wartime 16" Broadcast Transcription Aircheck from WMAQ featuring The Raymond Scott Orchestra recorded August 20, 1940 from the Panther Room of The College Inn at The Hotel Sherman. Side 2 is unknown. It is labelled MARJORIE CHANDLER. Raymond Scott had a soloist named Marjorie Chandler ( who was actually Dorothy Collins ), so his could be his soloist rehearsing. There is some scratchiness as there is with most of these early transcriptions but it plays mostly VG. Our 16" Discs  are shipped in 18 X 18 X 7 Heavy Duty boxes using the float method for secure shipping.
