DESCRIPTION OF ITEM:

Really Hard To Come By Original MONO 1st.Pressing of Sonny Clark's (Dial "S" For Sonny) LP

This is the original Deep-Groove mono pressing with the RVG and Ear stamp with the 9M etched in the dead wax (see up-close pictures) also has the W.63rd Street address on the labels and matching the address on the back of the cover. The front of the cover is laminated

When I purchased this album it came without the original sleeve and I never tried replacing it all I did was clean the record and been using a vintage high quality paper/plastic record sleeve (pictured) and will be the one you'll be getting with the album

Record label: Blue Note Cat.# BLP 1570 Year~1957

The condition of the Vinyl is Good

Because of the rarity of this album I am going to give as much of a complete description of the visual and sound clarity of this album, to the best of my ability. I am grading it to the specs of the record collector's guild, which I use to grade all of my records by. I have listened to this album numerous times with and without headphones on to get the true sounds. The sound quality I give a "Good" grade and plays with noise throughout and at times on the vinyl there are some loud pops and crackles through a few rotations, but no skips. The music is still loud and clear and has the nice Mono tone sound to it, at times you forget that it is as nicked up as it is. Most if not all of the marks are not very deep, but you can feel a couple of them when you run your fingers over the surface. The other marks are light surface marks that give the "crackle" background noise. Please look at the photos where I show the marks in the vinyl so I can give you a visual look. The visual grading of the vinyl is Fair-Good, as I stated before that has surface marks all over the vinyl but still has a pretty nice shine to it, I'm giving a bit of a tougher grader on the visual rather than the sound quality on the vinyl...I also added a couple of up-close pictures (last 2 pics.) to give you an idea what the vinyl looks like

This record usually brings in the thousands $$$$ for a pristine/near mint condition and even in this condition I have seen them fetch over $1000, so if you don't mind the wear on this album, to be able to get your hands on a rare vinyl at a discounted price, then this one is for you!

The condition of the Jacket is VG-VG+ with some age, corner and a little edge wear. There is some old tape residue on the front right side of the cover at the bottom of it that the person who owned it before must have done to keep the vinyl from slipping out of the cover, because it is also on the back left side of the cover...see pictures. There is also the number (48) written right above the S on the back of the cover and a very light crease not easy to see in the top right corner. That being said, the cover is still a very strong and nice cover for its age and with bright color for being 60 years old

will also combine other items for you to save on shipping

I take my time and pack very safely with all the edges of the Box fully taped with "Fragile" and "Handle With Care" on it

SHIPS OUT WITHIN 2 TO 4 DAYS AFTER PAYMENT

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR TIME AND HAPPY BIDDING!!!
