Hi, and welcome to "psych_out!" auctions!!!

I specialize in 50's, 60's, and early 70's records of almost every genre - Jazz, Blues, Psych, Folk, Soul, Rock, Pop e.t.c and everything in between! I've been dealing records for years, but i'm new to the ebay game so i'd like to tell you all of my intentions. I travel all over the UK hunting out the VERY BEST records I can find. Obviously, 90%+ of the ones I can find are completely trashed from the hard living ways and the rock 'n' roll, drug and booze fuelled debauchery of all the wild parties of the times, but the golden 10%? I offer them to all of you serious record collectors out there!!!

I'm going to start by listing 20 LP's a week every Friday and Saturday, all timed to end 10 days later on Monday and Tuesday night. Hopefully after a while, i'll be able to step things up a gear or two in good time. I'll only ever offer THE BEST, MOST AMAZING, MOST IMPORTANT, VERY RAREST UK 1ST PRESS ORIGINAL RELEASE RECORDS I can ever possibly find!!! I won't insult you with later 2nd pressings unless they are of exceptional quality and rarity. I'm sure you love good music as much as me, especially when it's a 1st Press LP, direct from the master tape, as the musicians intended it to be heard (none of this "digitally remastered", weak reissued, remixed rubbish from hired hands with one eye on the mixing desk and the other on the clock! If these session men really knew how genius should sound, surely they would've been geniuses themselves?! There will only ever be one Hendrix, and that's just a tiny example).

I intend to become one of the best sellers on ebay and would like to thank all of you potential bidders for your support and taste in music!!! I strictly grade all LP's I list, visually and sonically (on a very lightweight turntable) as customer satisfaction is highly important to me, and i'll always do my very best not to let you down. Label & year : Original EMI Columbia SCX 6157 LP , UK Stereo 1969 TRUE One Box 2nd Press!!!

Matrix's : Side A : YAX 3419 - 1, Side B : YAX 3420 - 1.

About : Ultra rare TRUE 1969 2nd Press!!! How hard to find is this!!! Many call the 2 EMI box version the 2nd press, but that is in fact the THIRD press!!! This one box version had a tiny, VERY limited run in 1969 and sold hardly anything before being quickly changed to the common 2 box label. Less were actually made of this pressing than the 1st Blue Black press!!! You'll be glad to know it sounds IDENTICAL as the Blue Black, as this one is also pressed straight from the original master tape. INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND, especially in this condition!!! This album is SURELY one of the best of all time. It has to be the best psychedelia i've ever heard. If you've never listened to it before, it's guaranteed to blow your mind!!! It certainly showed me just what sort of things are possible with sound. Easily the greatest thing Pink Floyd ever did with every song bar one written by the genius of Syd Barrett, one of music's most notorious acid casualty's. Apparently he's fine now, and enjoys a quiet life tending his garden and watching Cricket. So that's really great, and we should be grateful that he wrote this masterpiece, one of THE greatest albums of all time. Syd was a true, true genius, and this was his genius album (with a little help from his friends of course!). Absolute timeless classic psychedelic rock LP from this incredible band!!! An astonishing album that really contains some of the best music EVER recorded by anyone, and DESERVES to be in EVERY serious 60's / 70's record collection!!! Trivia : This was the only full album Syd Barrett recorded with Pink Floyd, though they all helped out on his 2 solo LP's with Dave Gilmour producing them both!!!

The LP :

Labels : Beautiful One Box Black and White EMI labels. Both sides are FANTASTIC with NO writing, NO real wear, and truly minimal spindle wear!!! AMAZING for a 37 year old record!!! Both must grade overall as Excellent if not better!!!

Record : Visual - Spectacular ultra thick Vinyl!!! Nice bright, clean and shiny - Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces!!! Has NO nasty scratches or anything that goes beneath the surface!!! Only a bit of ultra light wear such as light scuffs and minor surface traces from general use and being placed and removed from it's cover over the years. It really looks FANTASTIC!!! AMAZING for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall as Very Good++++ if not better!!!

Record : Audio - Fantastic stereo clarity and seperation!!! It really sounds INCREDIBLE and does this great album true justice!!!. NO pops, NO clicks, NO skips, NO repeating, NO hissing, and NO distortion, just a tiny amount of the usual light static crackle in places, ULTRA minor though and doesn't come CLOSE to overshadowing the music AT ALL!!! ASTONISHING for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall as Excellent if not better!!! (Apologies for any yellow reflection from the light in the pics)

Sleeve : Original E.J Day front laminated cover!!! Very hard to find in something approaching a nice condition, most are spent and torn due to the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! NOT this one!!! Still strong, sturdy and solid after all these years with beautiful straight edges and looks amazing!!! NO writing, NO stains OR colour fading!!! Only a hint of ringwear and a few usual light hardly noticable creases on the front!!! The main faces are FANTASTIC and the kaleidoscope front and Syd designed back look AMAZING!!! Must grade overall as Excellent minus if not better!!!
