Description
This first pressing of Relics is in excellent condition with superior sound quality. The audio is crisp and clear and I honestly think you would be hard pressed to find better. Side One plays extremely well with only mild crackle and that is only intermittent. For an LP of this age (released in 1971) the sound is sublime. Side Two does have 3/4 scratches but this does not affect the sound at all. the quieter tracks 'Cirrus Minor' and 'Biding My Time' sound stunning, crystal clear. the first half of issue of The Final Cut (A5/B2) has been extremely well looked after.
The original G & L cover is in excellent condition for its age with only mild handling marks which is very common with this white sleeve. It has clean edges, slight wear on the opening edge, but the thin spine and top edge are perfectly legible with 'Relics - Pink Floyd. This first pressing of course has the original blue Starline labels.
Play tested on my Technics SL-J110R turntable system.

ALL RECORDS ARE PROFESSIONALLY PACKED IN STRONG MAILERS WITH CARDBOARD STIFFENERS. THE RECORDS ARE ALSO REMOVED FROM THEIR SLEEVES TO AVOID CUTTING THROUGH THE COVER AND PUT INTO A SEPARATE SLEEVE, AND THEN PLACED INSIDE A PVC SLEEVE.
