Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs MFSL 1-017

Record made in Japan, pressed on translucent black vinyl

 

 

Gatefold jacket is only FAIR/GOOD, has a 1.5 inch seam split at top center, water/paper damage through the top corner at the spine.

Protective cardboard MFSL insert is also afflicted with water damage through one corner.

Record is overall in respectable used VG+ condition, plays well, some (mostly light background) surface noises here and there, still very enjoyable with a sensitive MM cartridge.

There is a tiny cluster of light scratches in a portion of “Time” on Side 1, noticeable during a brief part of the instrumental intro, music otherwise overpowers.
