FOR SALE:
The Pink Floyd - THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN
UK - 1st Edition, MONO (NO "FILE UNDER POP")
Label: COLUMBIA SX 6157
Black Columbia labels with silver text, and a blue "Columbia Records Magic Notes Trademark" at the top, and a blue "Columbia" in the centre. Underneath the blue "Columbia" it says "Sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions. See price lists." Thee letters "K" and "T" are stamped on side 2 on each side of the spindle hole. At the bottom of the label, it says "Made in Gt. Britain."

Cover - VG(+) - Laminated front, flipback rear, does NOT include 'File under...' text. Cover is very sturdy and rigid. No tears, has creasing around corners and sides, ringwear started on back as seen from photo, lamination starting to bubble, writing on front top left and right (see photo), spine complete
Vinyl - VG - Record has been played all through without skips, still a nice bright sheen from both sides. Both sides have marks (hairline scratches and other marks) Both labels have spindlewear. Vinyl has been played through fully, no skips but there is some noise crackling in parts when played.
Here is a break down of each song: Side 1 - Track 1, pops/crackles which lessen towards end - Track 2, very soft background noise - Track 3, a few pops plus very very soft background noise - Track 4, a few (4/5) pops - Track 5 and 6, very very very soft background noise. Side 2 - Track 1, pops/crackles which lessen towards end - Tracks 2,4 and 5, very soft background noise - Track 3, a few pops.
I try and describe all items as honestly as possible. Please bare in mind that this record in not mint but is a very good example with flaws.

MINT: THE RECORD ITSELF IS IN BRAND NEW CONDITION WITH NO SURFACE MARKS OR DETERIORATION IN SOUND QUALITY. THE COVER AND ANY EXTRA ITEMS, ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION.
EXCELLENT: THE RECORD SHOWS SOME SIGNS OF HAVING BEEN PLAYED BUT THERE IS VERY LITTLE LESSENING IN SOUND QUALITY.
VERY GOOD: THE RECORD HAS OBVIOUSLY BEEN PLAYED MANY TIMES BUT DISPLAYS NO MAJOR DETERIORATION IN SOUND QUALITY, DESPITE NOTICEABLE SURFACE MARKS AN OCCASIONAL LIGHT SCRATCH. NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR ON THE COVER AND CONTENTS WITHOUT ANY MAJOR DEFECTS IS ACCEPTABLE.
GOOD: THE RECORD HAS BEEN PLAYED SO MUCH THAT THE SOUND QUALITY HAS NOTICEABLY DETERIORATED PERHAPS WITH SOME DISTORTION AND MILD SCRATCHES. THE COVER AND CONTENTS SUFFER FROM FOLDING, SCUFFED EDGES, SPINE SPLITS, DISCOLOURATION ETC.
