A friend played this record on his restored Victrola. He wiped the record clean with a microfiber towel and used a new needle on his Victrola. Looking at the condition of this 120 year old record, he was surprised that the record’s sound quality was as good as it was. He played it all the way through once. There were no skips and it didn’t get stuck on the same lyric (groove). Of course there were wear sounds throughout the record but it was even.
I hate to end the original listing but I always present complete descriptions. If this record had flaws or would not play I would have updated it for those reasons also.
I did not know of a way to test the record until a friend told me after the auction started that he had a Victrola. I regret if this caused anyone a problem. I'm lowering the price and now offering free shipping.
