PUBLIC IMAGE LTD - THIS IS P.I.L - SIGNED IN MARKER PEN BY JOHNNY ROTTEN - EXCELLENT CONDITION - ONE OFF COLLECTORS ITEM.
Up for grabs is this rare original signed album by Johnny Rotten and the ever lasting ever changing Public Image Ltd.
After the inevitable implosion of the Sex Pistols it was obvious to all that Johnny would carry on.
The most talented of the bunch Virgin made it clear they would be very interested in whatever he came up with.
Everyone knows the story so let's get to this double album, a triumphant return to form for the band was this and everything on 'This Is Pil' is audio brilliance all the songs coming together to form a rich and powerful musical landscape.
Johnny Rotten a true voice of our generation and incredible song writer, John the pivotal and constant leader of the band has remained a true and steady force within the music scene, never bending to the latest trends or fads he has skillfully steered Pil into the band they are to this day, in fact I would go as far as to say the man is a creative genius.
This was signed by Johnny after a Public Image Gig in Leeds, I can 100% guarantee the signature is genuine as it was obtained in person by me - I will give the buyer a 100% lifetime return on this item if this is proved to be untrue.
This is a direct marker pen autograph with John signing "Johnny Rotten A Star Always" with his usual 'W' turned into a pair of boobs.
The records has been played a few times but are still in very good condition as is the sleeve which shows just very light storage wear, this has spent most of its life in a pvc protective sleeve which is included.
Obviously the start price is fair and reflects that this is a genuine hand signed item.
