Description

A picture is worth a thousand words, so I've included 12 photos to assist you in evaluating this superb classic from 1973. This particular Mobile Fidelity pressing is from 1979 and the sound quality is amazing. If you only ever invest in one Mobile Fidelity recording, then this must certainly be at or near the top of most people's shopping list. Re-mastered (half speed) by Stan Ricker. Pressed in Japan.

I would be confident in rating this copy as Ex+, with perhaps the outer sleeve/cover letting the package down to a degree. The photos are my attempt to help you see the wear for yourself. It remains solid, and does its job well, but there are a couple of tears and some shelf wear. Inside though, where things really matter as far as I'm concerned, the album itself is a wonderful pressing from MFSL and remains in Excellent condition. There are a few clicks and pops, but they don't detract from the experience of DSOTM on MFSL.......

Purchased by me as a used item a few years ago, the original inners are present and in mint condition.  The vinyl retains a superb sheen and is in fabulous condition, particularly when considering its age. Wonderful SQ on playback and this record is in Ex condition

Please note that my assessment of the album includes playing the record (Linn LP12, Naim amps etc) and the quality is superb and reflects the visual grading made under a strong light. I make no attempt to overstate the quality of this album and try to give an accurate account of what you may wish to buy. In addition, I have provided several photos which I hope support my narrative.
