Description
This is the debut album by Pink Floyd - The Piper at the Gates of Dawn. This is the US second pressing, Jacksonville Capital Records plant. The US track listing differs from the UK in not only order, but it removes Astronomy Domine in exchange for the UK single See Emily Play (both great songs). This was the only Pink Floyd album to be fully under the Syd Barrett era, Syd would shortly after depart and would soon become the topic of the Pink Floyd album Wish You Were Here. However, with Piper, you can hear the Psychedelic genius of Barrett and company and will understand what a loss it was for music when Syd went away.
This one is in amazing condition for its age and still has the shrink in tact with a Same Goody price sticker - cool.
