Description
Selling a super rare original press of Public Image Ltd Metal Box (METAL1). Tin in amazing condition bar a small dink in the shape / exterior edge- this could be panel beaten out I suspect but I’ll let the buyer consider that. No signs of rust, just wear from its age. Vinyl looks in near mint / mint condition but cannot play and check. It’s glossy with no marks or shadowing on any of the 6 sides. Please see photos as I have tried very hard to show the the surface of each side. I cannot see any marks or scuffs of any kind on the 3 records. No insert but the original METAL 1 label is on the back of tin. All the vinyl label are in mint cond with no pen, names or scratches. This may well be the best album ever recorded, grab a piece of history.
Priced cheaper due to no paper track listing insert. You could ask someone to colour photocopy for you (I have seen versions where the insert is recreated or glued to card) or try and buy one where the records and tin have perished. Not sure, but I have priced mine to reflect this.
Please note: I am not a professional vinyl salesman and am just trying to use the grading system to list accurately- I am letting go of some records I’ve collected over the years and am not a vinyl shop or expert. Thanks.
