Description
THE BEATLES - ABBEY ROAD - 1st UK PRESSING, MISALIGNED APPLE, NO 'HER MAJESTY' CREDITS, STEREO, PCS 7088
VERY VERY RARE !!!!!!
This is a Very good condition (Near mint) 1969 1st UK pressing of the Beatles famous Abbey Road LP in Stereo
Very rare because it is one of the few 1st pressings that went out with both the misaligned Apple logo to the reverse of the outer sleeve and have the 'Her majesty' creditation missing from the outer sleeve and the vinyl labels, before the errors were quickly picked up and corrected.
It has the matrix numbers:
SIDE 1 - YEX 749 A-3U - VERY RARE I'VE NEVER SEEN THIS ONE BEFORE!!!!!!
SIDE 2 - YEX 750 - 1
And has the pressing markings of:
SIDE 1 - 1 H
SIDE 2 - 1 RPR
Sleeve Conidtion: This is Very Good, the laminate to both sides is still very smooth and shiney, there are some minor wear marks to corners of the sleeve, and very minor wear marks to the opening edges. All in all very good both front and back, it's been well looked after.
Inner sleeve: Comes with the original Black inner sleeve, which is in very good condition in deed, only very faint markings where the vinyl curve has been, to be expected!!
Vinyl itself: Brilliant condition, looks like it has neer been played. Still very very shiney, and has NO visable scratches on it's surface at all, It really is a marvel to look at for it's age.
Sound Quality: Superb!!, what more can I say
