Here are TWO albums by The Velvet Underground featuring LOU REED! A moment to tribute the memory of Lou Reed, an inspired artist who made great contributions to music for the ages! First, an original album produced by Andy Warhol, "The Velvet Underground & Nico", featuring Lou Reed. Released on Verve records V6-5008 Stereo, this is the original 1966 stereo pressing, still has some of the original yellow banana peel sticker left on it! This vinyl rates VG to VG/VG+, is clean and very glossy, has a few marks, nothing too heavy, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays great, some surface noise and light pops, a tiny jump at the end of "Venus In Furs"(unobtrusive) but still a enjoyable listen throughout! The blue and silver Verve labels are clean and bright, no signatures. The cover rates VG+, is clean, bright color, no stains, binder edge has a 1" wear spot at center but not split, top seam neatly repaired, no signatures or marks, no drill holes or cut outs (see photos). Includes vintage Verve inner sleeve! PLUS, a second great album, "The Velvet Underground- Historia De La Music Rock", a rare SPAIN only pressing on Polydor 28 61 301 Stereo. Features a great track list including a 17 minute version of "Sister Ray" and more! Vinyl rates EX close to Near Mint, is clean and very glossy, looks rarely played, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays excellent from start to finish, clean and quiet, an enjoyable listen throughout! The red Polydor labels are clean and bright, no signatures. Jacket rates EX close to Near Mint, is clean and glossy, edges and corners solid, binder edge EX and readable, no splits, no tape, little wear, has a vintage "Made In Spain" sticker on the back!
