We played this record on a Garrard turntable using a GE variable inductance cartridge with a 3 mil. needle. This record plays from G+ at the very beginning and end to E for the balance. It is very listenable and at no time is the surface distracting. We heard no needle drops. The record has a slight warp towards the center which is common for these early plastic records.The record shows no cracks however there is a very slight edge chip that is nowhere near the playing area. This record features a well known assortment of vocalists with Nat Shilkret's studio orchestra. Two hits came from this show: "I've Told Every Little Star" and "The Song Is You".This was RCA's attempt to sell a high priced record in the worst year of the Depression and they are quite rare.
