Ringo Starr - 'It Don't Come Easy / Early 1970'. R 5898.

Ringo Starr 1971 UK 1st Apple DEMO pressing of the 'It Don't Come Easy / Early 1970' 7" single. Released on the 9th April 1971, and offered here in stunning MINT- condition.

These initial early demonstration pressings would have been given out to important reviewers and radio stations prior to the release date. Both labels state: 'DEMO RECORD NOT FOR SALE' and the release date of '2.4.71' (which is a different date to my reference book). Released on the dark Apple Records label this debut solo single from Ringo is among the most sought after Apple demo singles. The vinyl is housed within the original matt Apple Records sleeve. A real rarity in simply STUNNING CONDITION.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. 7YCE 21542 A-1U 1 G KT PECKO

Side 2. 7YCE 21543 B-1U 1 G KT PORKY

The vinyl is in MINT- condition. Both sides play through with NO problems and sound truly wonderful. STUNNING CONDITION.

Both labels are in MINT- condition. PERFECT.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD/VERY GOOD+ condition. Some writing in dark pen to the front and '1 . 50' written on the back'.
