Re listed due to a time waster who decided he/she could not afford it after they won the last auction for this LP !!! :0(
For sale here is a very very rare Let it Bleed LP by The Rolling Stones. Its an original 1st press on the Decca label. Ultra Rare Original 1969 UK 1st Press!!! This MASSIVELY RARE LP initially sold barely anything (LP's were also really expensive to most people back then!!!) and therefore had a very small run, and is INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND, especially in this condition!!! AN absolute classic LP from this incredible band!!! An astonishing album that really DESERVES to be in EVERY serious 60's / 70's record collection!!! Don't miss out on this MEGA RARE LP!!! If you like good music, bid now!!!
It comes with the impossible to find Decca promo book that only the first few hundred LPs came with. These are so rare these days and especially in this condition. Also comes with the original colour poster which again are coming more rarer as each day passes. It has no pin holes. The vinyl is in very good condition considering its age and has only minor scratches. It plays great on both sides with no jumps.Only a few pops and crackles, but that is a good sound to hear on vinyl. Another great thing about this LP is that it is in MONO... Most of these LPs were in Stereo and only a few thousand Mono`s were ever pressed before being discontinued all together.
Label & year : Original Ultra Rare "Unboxed" Decca LK 5025 LP , UK ULTRA RARE 1969 Mono 1st Press!!! IMPOSSIBLY HARD TO FIND!!! Was released pretty much as an after thought to satisfy a tiny amount of pre-orders - Mono was all but dead by 1969!!!
Matrix's : Side A : XARL-9363.P-2A , Side B : XARL-9364.P-2A
Trivia : Delia Smith (well known British TV chef) baked that cake!
NOW THIS IS A RARITY!!! TO FIND A COMPLETE MONO EDITION AT ALL IS INCREDIBLY HARD, BUT ONE WITH THE NEAR-MYTHICAL PROMOTIONAL CATALOGUE? IMPOSSIBLE!!! IT'S SAID THAT ONLY THE FIRST ONE OR TWO HUNDRED EVER CAME WITH THIS PHENOMENALLY RARE BOOKLET, AND I'M INCLINED TO AGREE!!! AND ONLY A MINISCULE FRACTION OF THOSE WILL HAVE SURVIVED - BARELY ANY HAVE EMERGED AT ALL OVER THE PAST 4 DECADES!!!
The booklet is an amazing piece of rock 'n' roll history - 12 pages of BEYOND AWESOME pictures of the band and ALL their UK releases and track listings up to that point with mono and stereo cat numbers, a beautiful little paragraph at the start about the band and Brian, and Stones connoisseurs will notice that the Aftermath pic on the inside is of the shadow sleeve too!!!)
OUTRAGEOUS MONO MIX - HEAR THIS MILESTONE IN ROCK AS IT'S MEANT TO BE HEARD!!! IMPOSSIBLY HARD TO FIND ONE THAT'S 100% COMPLETE WITH CUSTOM RED INNER, STICKER AND PHENOMENALLY RARE POSTER, LET ALONE ONE WITH THE SERIOUSLY RARE PROMO BOOK!!! DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY!!! A BRILLIANT 100% COMPLETE EXAMPLE OF THIS SOLID GOLD CLASSIC!!!
Please look at the photos and you can see for yourself what great condition this LP is in.
A fellow Stones collector emailed me this message during the last auction.........
Dear memoryman1001,
I just wanted to comment on your beautiful copy of "Let it Bleed" and you're so right about the rarity of the Decca Promo Booklet.
I'm not sure if you mentioned this in your description, but please allow me to!
What most folks do not understand about your specific copy of "Bleed" relates to the "Boxed" Red Decca Labels. These labels DO NOT denote a later pressing of this LP, but , instead, are rumored to be a "misprint or a mislabeling" of only a few hundred copies of the UK Mono "Bleeds".
We have a copy of this same LP, which was acquired in England on the first day of release. This album of yours, if you look it up on www.popsike, has sold for as much as 2500 GBP years ago, and, despite the economy, routinely fetches 680 to 900 GBP.
Anyway, I wish you the best of luck with this extraordinary piece of Rolling Stones history and your auction! This is one of the "Holy Grails" of Stones' vinyl, and I will be interested in seeing what you sell it for!
Best Regards,
K
Any questions then please ask and I will be happy to answer.
