Description
Up for auction is a very rare copy of the Ronnie Lane solo album "Ronnie Lane's Slim Chance" originally released in the U.S. on A&M Records (SP-3638/3680) in 1975. White label promotional copy. This is a guaranteed, original first U.S. pressing, not a reissue like most for sale on eBay. Includes original A&M paper inner sleeve.

Note: Virtually all Promo copies of this album have the factory punch hole, as this copy does. The album was titled "Slim Chance" because it reflected Ronnie's chances of being a commercial success--and the punch hole is proof that he was right!
Condition:
Cover is in very nice condition with only light signs of previous wear. Cover is generally clean, not age discolored, with some mild signs of ring wear at top and bottom middle. Faint crease lower left. Factory punch hole upper left. Seams are strong, intact, not split. Corners are good, with right ones bumped a little. Back is clean, light crease along left side. Spine is rubbed a little. Factory promo sticker middle top edge. Overall, a well-preserved cover. Grade: EX- (Excellent Minus), better than typical VG+.
Vinyl is also in very nice condition, retains its original glossy shine (see photos). No obvious scratches or scuffs. Just some very faint, superficial signs of having been taken in and out of paper inner sleeve a few times. Labels are clean, bright, no marks around spindle holes, indicating little previous play. The sound is clean and clear. Very well-preserved and cared for. Archived in my collection for the last 30 years, not played. Grade: EX+ (Excellent Plus).
