                  (Love Hurts)

WOW!!! MEGARARE and HARD-TO-FIND original MONO London “ffrr” Records very first press released in Chile in 1962 by Industrias Eléctricas Y Musicales Odeon, S.A. (Odeon Records), licensed from London Records Inc., USA, catalog number DLM 17057, with machine etched matrix numbers RDMSCL 5200 NS 2 (“NS” inverted) in Side A and RDMSCL 5201 NS 2 (“NS” inverted) in Side B, with green/silver London “ffrr” Records labels and large spindle hole!!! Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile!!! Amazing rarity for all lovers, fans and collectors of Roy Orbison and early days of rock’n’roll!!!

“Runnin’ Scared” with “Love Hurts” as Side B was originally released in USA by Monument Records in March 1961 and we had to wait until 1962 to see this great single released here in Chile and as you can see in both labels it’s informed “Recorded By “MONUMENT”, New York”. Song titles are written in Spanish, translated to English, with full credits for songwriters and time of each song, with the price, “E°1,26”, printed in Side A. If you know this single maybe you already noticed that original US title is “RUNNING Scared” but here in Chile it’s written “RUNNIN’ Scared”. You can see and compare in this link: https://www.discogs.com/es/Roy-Orbison-Running-Scared-Love-Hurts/release/10100767. So, here you have the chance to get and own this classic early rock’n’roll single by Roy Orbison released in Chile and almost never seen, with UNIQUE GREEN LONDON RECORDS LABELS and UNIQUE SONG TITLE “Runnin’ Scared”!!! WOW!!! A MUST TO HAVE!!!

This record doesn’t have a cover. The record is in very nice VG or VG+ condition both sides, glossy and clean, with many scuffs, hairlines and very light occasional scratches, hard to see at first sight, which don’t affect play. Labels are in great EX or EX+ condition both sides, clean and clear, with only minimal spindle hole wear and a small writing in Side B. The sound is in strong EX or EX+ condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), with only some very soft crackles here and there, more evident in the last seconds of each song, which of course don’t cause any distraction from the great sound this record keeps from the beginning to the end. Overall, maybe this record could not to be for strict Minty minds or audiophiles, but sure it’s still in a great condition and with still an amazing sound quality after about 55 years which won’t disappoint anyone!!! How many times have you seen this record here in eBay? Yes, this is the original Chilean issue of these classic rock’n’roll songs by Roy Orbison, an UNIQUE RELEASE with GREEN LONDON RECORDS LABELS almost never seen!!! Yes, Sirs, what a FIND!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!

Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…

Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.

IMPORTANT TO READ

We are not responsible for all the taxes, duties, fees you could have to pay in your country, but I always declare the records as gift.

If you have some doubt or question feel free to contact us, we will be glad to answer all that you want to know about this item.
