Description
Up for auction is a Rare Beatles 1966 Capitol records release for "Yesterday and Today" in its second state (UNPEELED) BUTCHER COVER!!! Great item for the young or new Beatles US or Butcher cover record collector....ready to be peeled, Ringo's black V-Neck sweater is clearly visible under the trunk slick to the right of the trunk edge and Ringo's elbow (see Pic); a slither of the butcher slick is visible also in lower left...the trunk slick actually looks pretty good with minimal wear from storage and two ink names written on in upper left (see pic)...the back cover has wear, staining and signs of dry mildew at opening to me.. .this is a West Coast pressing #6 cover with an East Coast record (that's how it came to me so for the purist, it will be easy to swap out with a West Coast disc)... the vinyl has minor scratches here and there and scuffing...the labels are nice but have a small yellow sticker on each side as shoen in the pics...see pic for machine stamped numbers in trail off area...the top and side seams were split all the way so they have been repaired with paper strips as shown in the pics..not bad though....comes with a "65 not '66 Capitol inner sleeve which can also be easily substituted....3 day auction..highest bid over $200 WINS and gets a great Butcher for the price...Good Luck!!
