Description
Hard-to-find British 1st release of the original soundtrack to ‘The Professionals’ (1967, dir. Richard Brooks).
The movie starred Burt Lancaster, Lee Marvin, Robert Ryan, and Claudia Cardinale, with Jack Palance, Ralph Bellamy, and Woody Strode in supporting roles.

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom): Vinyl: G. Clean on visual inspection. A few scuffs and marks on side 1. Side 2 has more light hairlines and long marks but no deep scratches. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is good throughout. Loud crackling and static at run-ins. Some clicking in places and surface noise throughout which is more audible during quieter sequences. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking.
Outer Sleeve (Cover): F-G. Colours are clear and unfaded. Fantastic laminated front sleeve. Creasing in from all sides and short splits in from spine. Curved creases across front. Edges clean and undamaged but top edge has tiny nick near right corner. Spine is pinched and clean with six or so splits, edges show more damage and buckling, aperture quite badly worn and stained. Back of sleeve badly stained round edges with some foxing in places. Overall good at best. Inner Sleeve: EX. Original. Poly-lined white paper with square corners and central hole. Blue printed text one side. Minor creases/folds through normal handling.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
