Description

An original 1st issue on UK Decca from Autumn 1970. Matrix 1W/1W. Nice chunky vinyl as found only on the early copies. The vinyl comes housed in a fully laminated cover [front and back] printed by UPTON. We also have an original blue and white Decca inner date July 1970 as you find on the 1st copies..  So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex) In really very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I could make out a couple of light marks per side, and one superficial trail - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. 'Love In Vain' plays very clean much better than many copies. Stray Cat plays superb. Most copies are not this clean signalled throughout. A bit of a cracker - more than capable of fully revealing the Stones at the height of their powers.
Cover (Ex) Really nice flat and shiny front and rear. Edge wear is minimal and the spine is fully intact. Sharp openings. A very fine specimen with excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Lightly aged a bit in places and no splits. Bag present.
