Sleeve
3D picture effect in superb holographic dimension. So cool!Group members animated on the front cover.Superb album sleeve. Not too much damage to report. Fraying on top/ lower edge of spine. Laminated outer faces in excellent condition.No edgewear..now that is amazing!Inner faces near perfect with no fading,tears or rips!! Excellent!
Red inner sleeve so normally ripped and torn, but NOT this one. In remarkable condition with the tiniest seam split about 10mm.Otherwise perfect inner. THE original and in excellent condition. Clean with no rips.Beautiful collectors item on offer here.
Labels
Incredible appearance. A lime green with bright silver text and look superb!Silver text stands out magnificently and labels have no spindle wear.Central hole near perfect and fits snugly around the spindle.There are some light spiderlines but do not show up very much against the light green of the label.Beautiful early Decca stereo labels and in excellent condition.
Vinyl
A gorgeous thick, chunky, heavyweight press! What a feel to this vinyl. Plenty of light surface marks and a few very light scratches.Not too serious! Very well loved and played plenty of times ( I wonder why)!
Audio
Now to be honest (as I always am!!!!),yes there is surface noise, a few clicks here and there, but as this is a UK first pressing, the audio is still absolutely BRILLiant!!Tones project sharp and clear and sail way beyond any surface noise that is present and the channels reign supreme!I have compared this audio to a later repress and there is really no comparison.Even a mint reissue with no crackles etc., does not compare to the clarity and depth of these tones. Believe me…a UK first press is incomparable to any other…I would grade a strong very good plus,and is considerably better in some parts. The enjoyment from these earlier presses is beyond description.
Not much more to say except this record is a UK VERY FIRST PRESS and a HUGE Stones release.Becoming more and more difficult to find, especially in this condition.
