This auction is for the rare and desirable prog rock LP,SAVOY BROWN, Called Getting to the point,On the original DECCA stereo (SKL 4935 ).What sets this hard to find LP apart is its condition. This record (guaranteed 100% original) is as near to mint as you are ever likely to find.
The cover is in amazing condition with absolutely no stains, or writing, although there is VERY slight creases comingin from the spine,other than that it's absolutely perfect - so near mint is certainly a fair description.
The record is mint and is a beautiful example of an old english pressing, still with its original lustre it simply looks unplayed. Having said that, it has been played once, by me to grade it and it plays perfectly....no pops, skips or scratches. Just the stunningly powerful original stereo mix. A superb sound from one of the great prog rock bands of our time.
The Label is also perfect with only light spindle marks,
This is probably the best example of this LP that you will ever have the opportunity to buy. I can't see any way that a better copy would exist, as this is almost faultless and couldn't really look any better .
Needless to say, this LP will be extremely well packed for shipping with extra care taken to protect the sleeve (especially the corners).
