Description
Hi there. I present you with a true first pressing of Sonic Youth's medallion level 3rd album EVOL. SST 059 - 1986. Considered by many to be a lasting masterpiece.
Notes and Identifiers:
Engineered at Before Christ, March 1986.
Cover girl: Lung Leg from "Submit to me" a film by Richard Kern.
Track B4 is titled on the back cover as "Madonna, Sean And Me" and on the lyric sheet as "The Crucifixion Of Sean Penn".
Track B4 ends on a locked groove. The duration listed on the label is ?, i.e., infinity.
Includes insert containing lyrics, photographs, and drawings.
Lacquer cut at, mastered at, mastered by, and pressed by information identified by runout etchings.

VINYL: EXCELLENT. Lustrous and bible black. Meticulously graded in ambient, blazing sun, and cool plenilunar light. Both sides show a few light scuffs and hairlines; nothing feelable. These do not interfere with consistently full and beautiful playback.
SLEEVE: VERY GOOD+. Quite glossy still. Shows signs of ring wear, edge wear, corner wear, and spine wear. You'll find creases near the edges. No tears or splits. An old price sticker, which I fear removing, is still on the back cover from the venerable Philly Record Exchange. Insert is perfectly intact save for a spot of creasing top right corner.
